Scenario

An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; finding out if their relationship survives their wildly different lives and interfering families.. Originally titled "Shiksa", which is also the last word spoken in the first episode.. Really loved this one! Romantic comedies always follow the same formula, but this one has many strengths – + I FELT the chemistry between the leads. It felt natural and harmonious. They played the characters so well! + The dialogue and relationships between the characters felt funny, witty and touching in the best possible way. + In a world that promotes representation, this is the first time I’ve seen a Jewish male love interest. I think it showed beautiful and inclusive parts of religion without putting it on a pedestal in any way. Great script, great cast, and amazing chemistry made this a binge watch for me, followed by a quick search for « Will there be a season 2? ». I liked this!
