Portraits tells the story of Mira, a down-on-his-luck artist who discovers that she has inherited a mysterious building in Los Angeles from an unknown relative. Mira takes this new opportunity, uproots her life and starts something new. But it doesn’t take long for fate to drag him even deeper into his family’s secret past, and it slowly becomes clear that he is attracted to his mysterious new friend, Madeline.
